Kwesi Arthur Bags BET Awards Viewers Best New International Act Nomination

Ghana’s Sarkodie and Stonebwoy who previously won the prestigious award as 2012 and 2015 Best International Act Africa winners respectively couldn’t get any nomination this year but the Tema based Ghanaian rapper made it.

The good news was announced on the official Twitter handle of Bet Award Africa today.

Many expected Stonebwoy and Sarkodie who recently won some of the top awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. Kwesi Arthur recently won the Hip-Pop Song Of The Year in the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards by defeating likes of Teephlow, Sarkodie, Kojo Cue and B4bonah.

2018 Bet Awards nominations were announced in 20 categories, selected by BET’s Voting Academy comprised of a group of respected entertainment professionals in the fields of television, film, music, social media, digital marketing, sports journalism, public relations, creative arts and fans.

The BET Awards will air live on BET on June 24 from Los Angeles.
