On the 7th of July 2018 , St. Johns Grammar senior High School witnessed a massive display of Talents ,amidst educations on drug abuse and talent management.
This was as a resuslt of the launching of an initiative called Positive Vibez High Skuul Netork.
The initiative which is sponsored by Actress, Philantropist and C.E.O of Salma’s Eatery , madam Salma Mumin is said to be an initiative seeking to help support the less privileged talented youth.
According to the C.E.O Christian Klutsey, most of the youth are blessed with great potentials but due to the less attention paid to them by the society, stigmatization, sexual harrasment by agencies, High charges by media houses before showcasing thier potentials, etc live them with with no choice but get wasted on the street.
This as we all will agree compounds the high rate of unemployment, drug abuse ,teenage pregnancy,robbery ,fraud and other social vices.
These hence inspired the formation of the organisation that comprises of various agencies that are instrumental in talent management.
Asked Why focus on the high schools , He(The C.E.O) made it clear it was considered the best choice to start with since this is normally the stage most youth get exposed to thier talents and social vices. He also promised the management is putting structures in place to reach out to the general public soon.
The initiative which will focus on talents such as Music, dancing, modeling, comedy, Poetry etc will see to the grooming , production, Promotion and selling of these talents in order for them to gain a meaningful life.
The launching saw the presence of the great personalities such as the Sponsor Salma Mumin , The creative director Danny Beatz, DKB, The school’s authority, and all partnering agencies who all expressed thier delight about the initiative and the impact it will have on the nation as a whole. The equally encourage the general public, schools and agencies to embrace and support it. The event in pictures below.
