After the successful label launch last year, Black Avenue Muzik has officially outdoored 10 artistes in its stables.
They are Dahlin Gage, Kobla Jnr, Nina Ricchie, Freda Rhymz winner of MTN Hitmaker Season 6 and Wisa Greid.
The others are Osayo, S3fa, Rony Turn Me Up, (a Music Producer) and DJ Breezy who is serving as a music producer and music director of the label.
In an interview with Showbiz, the head of the label, D-Black was hopeful the new signees will excel because the label had put in place measures to make them reputable brands and the team was working to make that a reality.
“The music industry has become competitive and so we need to do things uniquely.
That is why we chose promising artistes to help us achieve the dream.
As part of the deal, we will handle their music and video productions and other things to favourably compete in the industry,” he stated.
It has always been his passion to groom young artistes and that encouraged D-Black to start a record label and the desire has seen him work with the likes of Joey B who won VGMA New Artiste of the Year in 2014.
He also unearthed Dj Breezy who won VGMA Producer of the Year in 2015 and the Discovery DJ of the Year at the Ghana DJ Awards in the same year.
